Automation editor
Purpose
An automation is a rule in the form “when this event happens, if this condition is true, do this”. This page lets you set the rule up in three steps: Ne zaman (When: which event), Koşullar (Conditions: in which situation) and Ne yap (What to do: what to do to the character). You do not need to write code; the panel prepares the rule behind the scenes for you.
When to use
- To define automatic results such as a reward on level up, or a permanent boost when a certain ability opens.
- To change an existing rule’s condition or action and release a new version.
- To try the rule with a character and a sample event before releasing it.
Step by step
- On the Rules page press Yeni kural (New rule). For a new rule you can first choose a ready example from the Şablondan başla (Start from a template) section, or start with Boş kural (Empty rule).
- Write a name in the Kural (Rule) section; the key is generated automatically.
- Choose the event in the Ne zaman section.
- In the Koşullar section add a condition with Koşul ekle (Add condition). If you add no condition, the rule runs every time the event happens. With more than one condition, choose “all” or “any”.
- Leave at least one action in the Ne yap section; you can add one with Eylem ekle (Add action) and change the order with the arrow.
- If you wish, with the Kuralı dene (Try the rule) button choose a character and a sample event and see the result. The try creates no record.
- In the Dene ve yayınla (Try and release) section write your reason. For a new rule, optionally tick the Hemen açılsın (Turn on immediately) box and press Yayınla (Release).
When you edit an existing rule, a Yeni sürüm yayınla (Release new version) button appears; the key does not change.
Note
A released rule is saved off by default. The Aç button in the Rules list or the Hemen açılsın box makes it run.
Warning
The trait, resource, flag and ability names you write in conditions and actions must be exactly the same as the game’s own names. A wrongly written name prevents the rule from working as you expect; before releasing, see the result on a real character with Kuralı dene.
